چکیده
Internet-of-Things (IoT)-based Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Network (HWSN) has emerged as a prevalent technology that plays significant role in developing various human-centric applications. Like wireless sensor network (WSN), energy is also the most crucial resource IoT-based HWSN. The researchers have proposed many works to achieve energy-efficient operations by minimizing usage. A vast proportion of these emphasize using clustering approach, which proved its worth great extent. However, schemes require repeated formation clusters incurring amount nodes’ process. protocol design such varies with changing levels heterogeneity. In this work, hybrid scheme- An Energy-Efficient Hybrid Clustering Technique (EEHCT) been for HWSN minimizes consumption clusters’ and distributes load evenly irrespective heterogeneity level prolong lifetime. It appropriately utilizes dynamic static strategies formulate load-balanced network. EEHCT establishes supremacy over state-of-the-art via an extensive set simulations experimentation terms multiple performance metrics like stability, throughput, Like, it achieves gain up 90.27% respect lifetime peers standard operating conditions under varying configurations. addition quantitative analysis, statistical analysis provided demonstrate energy-balanced through scheme.

Hybrid Bio-Inspired Clustering Algorithm for Energy Efficient Wireless Sensor Networks
In order to achieve the sensing, communication and processing tasks of Wireless Sensor Networks, an energy-efficient routing protocol is required to manage the dissipated energy of the network and to minimalize the traffic and the overhead during the data transmission stages. Clustering is the most common technique to balance energy consumption amongst all sensor nodes throughout the network. I...
متن کاملAn Adaptive LEACH-based Clustering Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks
LEACH is the most popular clastering algorithm in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). However, it has two main drawbacks, including random selection of cluster heads, and direct communication of cluster heads with the sink. This paper aims to introduce a new centralized cluster-based routing protocol named LEACH-AEC (LEACH with Adaptive Energy Consumption), which guarantees to generate balanced cl...
متن کاملAn Energy-Efficient Multilevel Clustering Algorithm for Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Networks
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are generally believed to be homogeneous, but some sensor nodes of higher energy can be used to prolong the lifetime and reliability of WSNs. This gives birth to the concept of Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Networks (HWSNs). Clustering is an important technique to prolong the lifetime of WSNs and to reduce energy consumption as well, by topology management and ro...
متن کاملAn Energy Efficient Clustering Method using Bat Algorithm and Mobile Sink in Wireless Sensor Networks
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) consist of sensor nodes with limited energy. Energy efficiency is an important issue in WSNs as the sensor nodes are deployed in rugged and non-care areas and consume a lot of energy to send data to the central station or sink if they want to communicate directly with the sink. Recently, the IEEE 802.15.4 protocol is employed as a low-power, low-cost, and low rat...
